She holds certificates in Leadership and Communications Skills, Grant Writing, she served as past president of the Consumer Credit Association of Greater New Haven.

Ginny’s skills in organizing, planning, and implementing a “can do” attitude was just what the organization needed in December of 2007 to get their building restoration project of the Dossin Beach Bathhouse underway to serve as a regional education center and headquarters for the organization.

The restoration project was achieved over a 5 year period through donations, grants and "in kind" services of over $200,000 and through the generosity of funding from the Cuno Foundation, the Meriden Lions Club, the South Meriden Lions Club, City of Meriden CDBG, Pfizer, Inc. and QRWA membership, volunteers and board member donations.

On December 12th, 2012 Ginny was presented with a Citation from Senator Len Suzio to acknowledge the renovations to the old Dossin Beach Bathhouse that now serves as the QRWA headquarters

Ginny served as president for the QRWA from December of 2007 to January 2013 at which time she volunteered to serve as a staff volunteer in the capacity of Administrator, and  Director or Grants and Environmental Education. Ginny has recently rejoined the board of directors and is currently serving as vice president.
