He currently serves as the Legislative and Political Chair of the CT Sierra Club. He is a past president of the QRWA, a director and past treasurer of Rivers Alliance; a commissioner of the Hamden Energy Use and Climate Change Committee; a member of the 1000 Friends of CT advisory board; co-founder, Mill River Watershed Assn.; steering committee member, Coalition for a Safe and Healthy CT.; special projects consultant, CT Assn. Of Conservation and Inland Wetlands Commissions; member, City of Bridgeport Sustainability Community Advisory Committee; former director, Eli Whitney Museum; former director, CT Odyssey of the Mind; former president, Yale Aviation; and a former commissioner, Hamden Natural Resources and Open Space Commission.
