     Mary Mushinsky
Before serving as executive director, Mary was a member of QRWA's Board of Directors and a volunteer on several QRWA projects. Her QRWA priorities are citizen outreach, river access and training of young river advocates.

Mary Mushinsky, QRWA executive director, holds a B.A. in biology from Southern CT State University, an M.A.L.S. in science from Wesleyan University, and a teaching certificate for biology, chemistry and science from the CT Alternative Route to Certification. Mary was certified as a basic river canoe instructor by American Canoe Association in 2004 and is an SSI-certified open water scuba diver. Mushinsky also serves as state representative for the 85th assembly district and lives in Wallingford.
