![]() ![]() Steve FontanaSteve Fontana served the people of North Haven as State Representative for the Connecticut General Assembly's 87th District from 1997 to 2011. During that time, he focused on health care and energy policy, serving from 2005 to 2009 as House chairman of the General Assembly's Energy & Technology Committee, and from 2009 to 2011 as House chairman of the General Assembly’s Insurance and Real Estate Committee.
Fontana currently works as a title examiner, and holds a B.A. in Creative Writing from Oberlin College, an M.B.A. in Marketing from the Johnson School of Management at Cornell University, and a J.D. from the University of Connecticut School of Law. On a local level, Fontana continues to serve the people of North Haven as Secretary of the town's Montowese Volunteer Fire Association, as a member of the Board of Directors of the Quinnipiac River Watershed Association, and as an Honorary Director of the town's Peter's Rock Park Association.
