Jack Johnson Offers Matching Funds
JACK JOHNSON QRWA FAN
Quinnipiac River Watershed Association (QRWA) was one of five Connecticut organizations picked by musician Jack Johnson to participate in Johnson's "Village Green" of environmental activists this summer at his concert in Hartford. Executive director Mary Mushinsky and QRWA volunteers, including vice-president David James, interacted with Johnson's fans and encouraged them to protect the environment with their personal choices. Jack Johnsonís new charity is also matching every dollar contributed to QRWA before October 15th, up to $2500. Funds will be doubled by the Johnson Ohana Charitable Foundation.
