David James

David is currently majoring in Environmental Studies with a focus to work in Natural Resource Management.

David has been actively involved in the QRWA water quaility programs and over 20 years as leader of river clean up efforts for the Quinnipiac River. These clean up efforts have brought about a 50% improvement in the river.

David has served on the QRWA board of directors for over a decade advocating for the river, submitting testimony on legislative issues and works closely with city and town officials to improve municipal regulations that effect the watershed.

David currently serves on the Meriden Liner Trail Advisory Committee as a liasion for the QRWA, Chairs Source to Sound Clean Up, and is a member of the Quinnipiac Watershed Base Plan Implementation Project, and the QRWA Paddle Committee.
