    Fall Clean UpQ River and Hanover PondSeptember 11, 2021 RAIN DATE 09/259:00 AM – Noon Staging Area at QRWA 540 Oregon Road Meriden , United States 06451 › Driving Directions It’s time again for QRWA’s Fall River Cleanup! After a year of having to cancel our traditional events, we will be resuming our single-day, in-person cleanup on September 11th, from 9 to 12. We welcome and appreciate volunteers of any age and experience level as we clean trash and debris from the Quinnipiac River and Hanover Pond. QRWA will provide trash bags, gloves, and some waders, and guides will be on-site with instructions. Participants are advised to wear weather-appropriate work clothes and boots. If you would like to join and RSVP, have questions about this event, or are willing to volunteer from a boat, please contact Liz at qrwainfo@att.net. Walk-in volunteers are also encouraged. We appreciate all of our volunteers’ continued support to keep the Quinnipiac River and Hanover Pond clean and look forward to seeing you all!! RAIN DATE: September 25th. UPDATE 8/30/21 : Due to continued concerns around Covid, we will not be including food and drink at this event. Please feel free to bring your own snacks and please plan to maintain social distancing.
