Speaker SeriesTalk on BobcatsTuesday, March 12, 20246:30 PM – 8:00 PM QRWA Headquarters 540 Oregon Road Meriden, CT 06451 › Driving Directions Connecticut’s Secretive Wild Cat Please join us on Tuesday, March 12th at 6:30 p.m. at the Quinnipiac River Watershed Association headquarters located at 540 Oregon Road in Meriden, CT for a presentation by Master Wildlife Conservationist Ginny Apple who will focus on the natural history of bobcats in Connecticut and provide an overview of bobcat habitat, diet, behavior, reproduction and current research efforts. Bobcat artifacts will also be shown. There is no cost for this presentation. Ginny is the Chair of the Barkhamsted Conservation Commission and a member of the Barkhamsted Economic Development Commission, she is also on the Boards of the Farmington River Watershed Association, the Friends of American Legion and Peoples State Forests (FALPS), the Friends of Connecticut State Parks and volunteers regularly with the Barkhamsted Historical Society (BHS) and maintains the Town's Facebook page as well as that of FALPS and BHS. | | Share |
